TikTok Shop sellers (both individual and corporate) may be required to re-verify their accounts when the platform detects risk signals such as sudden spikes in negative customer reviews or policy violations. Failure to complete re-verification can result in account restrictions, suspension, or closure.

Account re-verification is a mandatory compliance process on TikTok Shop designed to maintain platform safety. The process can be triggered by risk detection related to shop performance or policy compliance. Re-verification must be completed by the Owner Account with admin access; sub-accounts cannot submit. The submission portal is located at TikTok Shop Seller Center > My Account > Account Settings > Qualification Center, where a “Verify your qualifications” banner appears with a “Verify Now” button. Individual sellers must provide: ID Card Document, ID Card Number, Full Name, Date of Birth, Residential Address, and Face Scan. Corporate sellers must provide: Business Registration Document, Business Registration Number, Company Name, Registered Address, plus for Sole Proprietors and Business Household only: UBO (Ultimate Beneficial Owner) ID Card Number, UBO ID Card Document, UBO Full Name, UBO DOB, UBO Residential Address, and UBO Face Scan. Liveness verification is required for individual sellers and sole proprietors. For sellers required to re-verify: (1) Log in to Seller Center PC as Owner Account with admin access; (2) Navigate to My Account > Account Settings > Qualification Center; (3) Click “Verify Now” on the “Verify your qualifications” banner; (4) Prepare required documents based on seller type — individual sellers need ID card and personal details plus face scan; corporate sellers need business registration documents and company details; sole proprietors and business households additionally need UBO identity documents and face scan; (5) Complete liveness verification by following on-screen instructions in well-lit environment with clear face visibility, without masks or sunglasses, without leaving screen or covering camera; (6) Await platform Reviews and check Qualification Centre for results; (7) If unsuccessful, retry within specified timeframe.
