Tình huống

TikTok Shop sellers on the platform may be required to re-verify their accounts when the system detects risk signals from their shop or products, such as a sudden increase in negative customer reviews or policy violations. This applies to both Individual Sellers and Corporate Sellers (including Sole Proprietors and Business Households).

Insight

TikTok Shop requires Account Re-verification to maintain platform safety for buyers and sellers. Re-verification may be triggered when risk is detected from a shop or products, specifically including: spike in negative customer reviews, or policy violations. Failure to complete re-verification may result in account restrictions, suspension, or closure.

Submission location: On Seller Center PC, under My Account → Go to TikTok Shop Seller Center > My Account > Account Settings > Qualification Center. A “Verify your qualifications” banner appears in the Qualification Center. Clicking “Verify Now” starts the submission process. Important: Only Owner Account with admin access can submit; sub-accounts cannot submit.

Required information by seller type:

  • Individual Sellers: ID Card Document, ID Card Number, Full Name, Date of Birth (DOB), Residential Address, Face Scan
  • Corporate Sellers: Business Registration Document, Business Registration Number, Company Name, Registered Address
  • Only for Sole Proprietors and Business Households: UBO (Ultimate Beneficial Owner) ID Card Number, UBO ID Card Document, UBO Full Name, UBO DOB, UBO Residential Address, UBO Face Scan

Liveness verification (required for individual and sole proprietors): Do’s: Follow on-screen instructions carefully; ensure face is clearly visible throughout; complete in well-lit environment; remove items blocking face (masks, sunglasses). Don’ts: Do not leave screen or interrupt process midway; do not cover face or camera.

After submission: Qualification reviewed by platform. Results notified and available in Qualification Centre. If approved: existing Xử phạt actions may be automatically revoked at platform’s discretion. If unsuccessful: may retry within specified timeframe.

Hành động

  1. Monitor Qualification Center for “Verify your qualifications” banner when risk signals appear.
  2. Ensure only Owner Account with admin access submits re-verification (not sub-accounts).
  3. Prepare required documents based on seller type:
    • Individual: National ID card, proof of residential address, prepare for face scan
    • Corporate: Business registration documents, company details; if sole proprietor/business household, also prepare UBO identification and face scan
  4. For liveness verification: use well-lit environment, remove face coverings, stay on screen, follow instructions without interruption.
  5. Check Qualification Centre for Reviews results after submission.
  6. If unsuccessful, retry within the specified timeframe indicated by platform.
