TikTok Shop Vietnam sellers need to understand payment settlement periods based on shop type (Mall vs regular), account activity, and whether they have passed the New Shop Adjustment Period. Policy applies to all Vietnam-based TikTok Shop sellers.

TikTok Shop Vietnam applies four distinct payment settlement periods determined by shop type and account activity: (1) Express Settlement: 1 calendar day — applies to eligible TikTok Shop Mall shops that meet specific monthly criteria including: no flagged fraudulent shipping activities, having passed the probation period for new shops, and not using Seller Own Fleet for order Vận chuyển; if a shop currently on Express Settlement fails criteria in a given month, Standard Settlement applies next month. (2) Accelerated Settlement: 3 calendar days — applies by default to shops that have passed the New Shop Adjustment Period. (3) Standard Settlement: 8 calendar days — applies by default to shops that have NOT passed the New Shop Adjustment Period; also applies to Mall shops that fail Express Settlement criteria, and to shops with detected policy breaches. (4) Extended Settlement: 15 calendar days — applied when TikTok Shop evaluates shop activity, overall account risk, or detected policy violations. Settlement periods are assessed dynamically and may change over time as shop activity and performance evolve. In cases of abnormal or potentially harmful activity, settlement may be further extended to maximum 30 calendar days to protect buyers and maintain platform integrity. TikTok Shop may also trial different settlement periods from time to time. For platform-funded shipping subsidies or compensation for non-seller-fault reasons, settlement may only occur around 3 calendar days after order completion, with actual timing subject to further investigation and TikTok Shop’s discretion. Creator commissions are paid only after seller orders are settled, so creator payout timing depends on the seller’s settlement period type. Settlement period can be checked via: Seller Center > Account Health > Shop Health, or Seller Center > Finance > Transactions > To Settle.

To qualify for Express Settlement (1 day), sellers must ensure: no fraudulent shipping activities flagged; pass new shop probation period; do NOT use Seller Own Fleet for Vận chuyển. Monitor monthly compliance as failure results in downgrade to Standard Settlement next month. Check current settlement period regularly through Seller Center > Account Health > Shop Health or Seller Center > Finance > Transactions > To Settle. Maintain good account standing and avoid policy violations to prevent Extended Settlement (15 days) or maximum 30-day extension. For Mall shops: failing Express Settlement criteria automatically triggers Extended Settlement, not Standard Settlement. Sellers should plan cash flow based on their current settlement tier: new shops expect 8 days default, established shops after probation expect 3 days, Mall shops can achieve 1 day with strict compliance.
