TikTok Shop sellers in Vietnam need to understand payment settlement timelines based on shop type, account activity, and risk assessment. The policy applies to all TikTok Shop sellers including TikTok Shop Mall shops, new shops in adjustment period, and shops with varying risk profiles.

TikTok Shop applies four distinct payment settlement periods that determine when sellers receive earnings after order delivery: (1) Express Settlement: 1 calendar day — applies to eligible TikTok Shop Mall shops that meet specific monthly criteria including no fraudulent shipping flags, passed probation period for new shops, and not using Seller Own Fleet for Vận chuyển; (2) Accelerated Settlement: 3 calendar days — default for shops that have passed the New Shop Adjustment Period; (3) Standard Settlement: 8 calendar days — default for shops that have NOT passed the New Shop Adjustment Period; (4) Extended Settlement: 15 calendar days — applied when TikTok Shop evaluates shop activity, account risk, or detects policy violations. Settlement periods are assessed dynamically and may change over time as shop activity and performance evolve. In cases of abnormal or potentially harmful activity, settlement may be further extended to a maximum of 30 calendar days. TikTok Shop may also trial different settlement periods periodically. For platform-funded shipping subsidies or compensation for non-seller-fault reasons, settlement may only occur around 3 calendar days after order completion, with actual timing varying based on investigation needs. Creator commissions are tied to seller settlement periods — creators only receive Commission after seller orders are settled, meaning creator payouts depend on the seller’s settlement period type. Shops currently on Express Settlement that fail to meet criteria in a given month will revert to Standard Settlement the following month. For TikTok Shop Mall shops, Extended Settlement applies if they fail to qualify for Express Settlement in that month.

Sellers can check their current settlement period via two paths in Seller Center: (1) Account Health > Shop Health, or (2) Finance > Transactions > To Settle. To qualify for Express Settlement (1 day), sellers must ensure: no fraudulent shipping activity flags, completion of new shop probation period, and avoidance of Seller Own Fleet for order Vận chuyển. Sellers should monitor account health proactively to maintain preferred settlement periods. If policy breaches are detected, TikTok Shop may apply Standard or Extended Settlement regardless of other qualifications.
