Shipping fee discounts on TikTok Shop allow sellers to bear all or part of shipping costs for customers as a promotional strategy. The tool is accessed through Seller Center > Promotions > Promotional tools > Shipping Fee Discount. To qualify for this tool, sellers must meet two mandatory criteria: (1) Completed the New Shop Probation period, and (2) Have a positive account balance (account balance above $0). The probation period is a fixed requirement with no exceptions — there is currently no way to bypass this requirement. For account balance issues, fulfilling orders may help maintain a positive balance. A negative account balance does NOT affect currently active shipping discounts; however, sellers with negative balances cannot publish NEW promotions. Sellers can check their shop’s Performance Metrics in the Seller Center. The feature applies specifically to Vietnam market.

To use Shipping Fee Discounts: complete New Shop Probation first; ensure account balance stays above $0; navigate to Seller Center > Promotions > Promotional tools > Shipping Fee Discount to create discounts. If account balance is negative: fulfill orders to restore positive balance; note that existing active discounts continue running despite negative balance, but no new promotions can be published. Check Performance Metrics in Seller Center to monitor shop status.
