TikTok Shop Vietnam has two seller types: individual sellers (Vietnamese citizens, at least 18 years old) and corporate sellers (entities registered in Vietnam). Individual sellers must submit a government-issued Identity Card; corporate sellers must submit business licenses/registrations and may need to provide the legal representative’s Identity Card. One verified business entity can register up to five (5) seller accounts. Individual sellers are restricted from selling certain brands and must register as corporate sellers with Thương hiệu Authorisation documentation to list restricted brands. Shop names must not exceed 40 characters, must accurately represent the business, and are Sản phẩm cấm from containing: illegal information, banned product names, discriminatory language, inappropriate political language, hate speech, sexually suggestive content, abusive content, “TikTok” without permission, third-party platform terms (Lazada, Shopee, Amazon, Instagram, Facebook) without authorization, brand names without written authorisation (only ‘Official’ permitted with authorisation; ‘Flagship’, ‘Authorized’ and similar terms prohibited), comparisons or exaggerated descriptions (“better,” “the best,” “vs.”), duplicated shop names, external contact information or websites, purely generic words (“Automotive,” “Shop,” “Store”), strings of text, solely alphanumeric content, special characters, or pure numbers. All shop names must use an official language of the marketplace. Seller profiles must include: country, province, district, full geographic address, postal/zip code, and any requested identifying documents. Identity documents must be government-issued, recognized by Vietnam, valid at submission, and remain valid throughout business operations. Document format requirements: high-quality, colored, unobstructed images showing front and back; no angled, blurry, black-and-white, or cropped screenshots; multi-page files combined into one page; formats limited to png and jpg; file names must not be random strings, alphanumeric, or contain special characters. Bank account requirements: corporate applicants must use business bank accounts with names matching business licenses; individual applicants must use bank accounts matching identity document names. Applicants under investigation or subject to Xử phạt actions by trade or consumer protection authorities (including multi-level marketing, Ponzi, or pyramid schemes) are prohibited from registering and may be suspended until resolution. TikTok Shop may request supplementary documents during Reviews, conduct periodic verification checks, and require re-review for any documentation changes.

For all applicants: create shop name following all restrictions (max 40 characters, no Sản phẩm cấm terms, no brand names without authorisation, no generic words, no special characters, no pure numbers); provide complete profile with country, province, district, full address, postal code; submit high-quality colored document images in png or jpg format with proper file names; ensure all documents remain valid throughout business period and notify TikTok Shop of any changes; consult legal advisor for questions about information disclosure requirements; check the registration guidelines page regularly for updates.
